Abstract
Suherlan. 2011. Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan Adversity dan Motivasi Berprestasi dengan Profesionalisme Guru MTsN SeKabupaten Kuningan”. This research comes from the problem of teacher profesionalism in MTsN at Kuningan Regency, such as by still lack control of science and technology, teachers ability is still low to make IT based instructional media, teachers fell enjoy use an instantly product than practice their own design, still unusual and toward to the innovation. The purpose of this research are (1) to describe the adversity quotient and achievement motivation of teachers, (2) to become clear profesionalism teachers, and (3) to description the relationship between adversity quotient and achievement motivation with teachers profesionalism in MTsN at Kuningan Regency. The method of this research is used survey explanatory, because this research reveals data that has been running in the field. It useful to be analyzed and followed up for the hyphotesis test. The samples is taken about 150 from 234 teachers. Path Analysis is used as data analysis tool with SPSS 15.0 program for windows. The result of the research shows that: Adversity quotient (X1) low condition (0,67%) middle condition (93,33%), and high condition (6%). Achievement motivation (X2) low condition (0%) middle condition (92,67%), and high condition (7,33%). Teachers profesionalism in MTsN at Kuningan Regency low condition (0%) middle condition (18,67%), and high condition (81,33%). X1 variable establish changing directly Y is amount of 13,31%, but X2 variable is amount of 6,79%, so the totally of X1 variable establish changing Y is amount of 20,10%. X2 variable establish changing directly Y is amount of 20,77%, but X1 variable is amount of 6,79%, so the totally of X2 variable establish changing Y is amount of 27,56%. The relation of X1 and X2 for the Y variable is amount of 47,66%. The residual variable with Y variable is amount of 52,34%. This Y is influenced by X1 and X2 variables are amount of 47,56%, and the rest is amount of 52,34% influenced by other factor, it didin’t examine.
