Abstract

Kosasih, 505720022. Perbandingan Prestasi Belajar dan Motivasi Siswa yang Tinggal di Asrama dan yang Tidak Tinggal di Asrama (Studi Kasus di SMP ITUS Jalaksana Kabupaten Kuningan ) Boarding school be education that presented according to comprehensive, during 24 clocks. not separately like in regular education. if regular education only focus to academic education, so education at school berasrama hold education at all aspects. begin from academic, religion, know-how, up to character construction. Realita that at SMP ITUS Jalaksana, student not all enter boarding house but there that go home to the house each. In follow activity at school there boarding house student that has accomplishment and tall motivation, but there also student doesn't live in has accomplishment and tall motivation. Thereby, problem that be lifted in this watchfulness: “what there accomplishment difference and motivation learns student boarding with not boarding at SMP ITUS Jalaksana? ” This watchfulness has several aims that is explains accomplishment learns student that boarding house and doesn't live in boarding house, explain motivation learns student that boarding house and doesn't live in boarding house and confirm accomplishment difference learns and motivation between student that boarding house with doesn't live in boarding house. This watchfulness uses descriptive quantitative method. as to the population student SMP ITUS Jalaksana Kuningan that number 628 person. Watchfulness sample 158 students, use random method sampling. in data collecting is used inquiry method and documentation. inquiry is used to get data about student motivation, while documentation method is used to get accomplishment data learns student. While to detect accomplishment difference and student motivation that boarding house and doesn't live in boarding house is used test analysis t two free variables. From data analysis for academic accomplishment, with standard signifikansi (α = 0,05) and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 79 + 79 - 2 = 156, so that got ttabel = 1,960. thereby comparison between thitung with ttabel 1,960 < 2,82 > 1,960. Furthermore for accomplishment non academic, with standard signifikansi (α = 0,05) and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 79 + 79 - 2 = 156, so that got ttabel = 1,960. thereby comparison between thitung with ttabel 1,960 < 9,95 > 1,960. While for student motivation, with standard signifikansi (α = 0,05) and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 79 + 79 - 2 = 156, so that got ttabel = 1,960. thereby when does comparison between thitung with ttabel 1,960 < 9,95 > 1,960. This watchfulness conclusion student academic accomplishment SMP ITUS Jalaksana that boarding house belongs to good, averagely 72,67. while accomplishment non the academic belong to very good, averagely 4,43. as to student academic accomplishment doesn't live in boarding house belongs to bot b, averagely 71,10. While accomplishment non the academic belong to very bot b, averagely 4,21. motivational level learns student SMP ITUS Jalaksana regency that boarding house belongs to very tall, averagely 4,45. While motivation learns student smp itus doesn't live in boarding house belongs to tall, averagely 3,58. thereby, found difference significant between academic accomplishment, accomplishment non academic and motivation learns student SMP ITUS Jalaksana regency that boarding house with student doesn't live in boarding house.
