Abstract
ABSTRACT Sustainable development or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have a function to create a good living environment and community welfare. The impacts that often occur in Indonesia that will affect sustainable development as a result of marine pollution are SDGs 3 regarding public health and welfare and SDGs 14 for the preservation of marine resources. Environmental damage to marine ecosystems as a result of waste pollution and spilled oil pollution often occurs in Indonesia. This is a problem in sustainable development which has a goal until 2030. Protection of the environment must be enforced to prevent irresponsible parties from carrying out activities that damage the environment. UU no. 32 of 2009 was made to manage and protect the environment. The common goal of development and the Law on environmental management and regulation (UUPPLH) is that they both have the goal of creating a clean environment and maintaining the health and welfare of the community. The research method in this writing uses normative legal research methods. The results of the research obtained provide information that the occurrence of environmental pollution will certainly hinder sustainable development programs.
