Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Wordwall.net on students’ vocabulary of seventh-grade in junior high school. This study used a quantitative method quasi-experimental design with two groups: the experimental and the control group. The research samples were class VII B amounted to 35 students for the experimental group using Wordwall.net and class VII A amounted to 33 students for the control group without using Wordwall.net, from the entire seventh grade population. The instruments used to collect data were pre-test and post-test that had different questions but used the same test grid, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 29. The results reveal a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental group (79.29) and the control group (56.97), with a significance level (Sig. 2-tailed) of < 0.001, which meant was lower than 0.05 and the effect size was 1.45, it meant that using wordwall.net has strong effect in this study.
