Abstract
BUSRO ARIFIN, NIM. 505710041, The Influence of Headmaster Professionalism and Teacher’s Work towards the Students Achievement in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu. The headmaster professionalism and teacher’s work have a big deal for the success of teaching and learning process in a school. The facts that the achievements of the students in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu are not satisfied. Those happened because of the charged of head masters. Mr. Moh. Ahsan, M.Ag has a big improvement for the teachers and students of MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu. The phenomena becomes a material for the research. The problem of the research is how big the influence of headmaster professionalism and teacher’s work towards the students achievement in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu. The aims of the research are to investigate the headmaster professionalism, teacher’s work, the students achievement, the influence of headmaster professionalism towards the students achievement, the influence of teacher’s work towards the students achievement and the influence of headmaster professionalism and teacher’s work towards the students achievement in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu. The method of the research is quantitative method. The collecting of the data in this research uses observation, questionaire by sampling and from the students’ report. The sample of the research is 85 students from population 541 students of MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu in 2010/2011 period. The result of the research is the headmaster professionalism has positive effect significantly to the students achievement (r=0.857 or 73,44%). The teacher’s work has positive effect significantly to the students achievement and the influence of professionalism and teacher’s work towards the students achievement (r=0,925 or 85,56%). The headmaster professionalism has positive effect to the teacher’s work (r=0,944 or 89,11%) and the headmaster professionalism and the teachers’ work have positive effect significantly to the students achievement (r=0.944 or 89,11%) in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu.. The conclusion of the reserch is the headmaster professionalism and the teachers’ work have positive effect significantly to the students achievement in MAN Karangampel Kabupaten Indramayu. Be significant the more the professional of the head master and teacher’s working so the student’s achievement will be more increase.
