Abstract
A person language politeness is not free from design of a person language. It has correlation with his/her daily language behavior. There is acceptable politeness according to speaker and there is speaking politeness according to speaking partner. Language politeness has correlation with person cleverness (skill) in belonging “sense of language” that should be pushed with language variation. For example: when a person will communicate with other people, it is better if he/she chooses good vocabulary which has acceptable politeness by speaking partner. The life of a person, wherever and whenever he/she lives, he/she must absolutely do with communication. He/she needs to communicate with other people in order to fulfil his/her needs. In communication, more particularly in doing conversation or interaction with other people who have different culture, he/she should pay attention to the language politeness with looking at a person who speaks and context situation where conversation or interaction is going on. In doing conversation or interaction, there are some principles of politeness, for example : tact,generosity, praise, modesty, agreement, and sympathy maxim.
