Abstract
Press denotes any activity in information management -any information- from reading the newspapers, watching television in the living room, or merely surfing the web. In every chapter of Indonesian history, the press appeared to have unique story merited a serious study. Especially in the post-New Order era, or the reformation era, where the journalists experienced total freedom in their job. It is interesting to learn how the historians study the press as the part of contemporary Indonesian historiography. Keywords : History, Press, Reformation
