Electronic wallet (e-wallet) on the OVO application as an online payment system that provides many attractive offers for users. Online payment system that always provides convenience in transactions so that it has enough benefits in the application. Although it has quite a number of benefits in the application and ease of use, the suitability of the electronic wallet with the maqâṣid syarī'ah still needs to be discussed. Compliance with the syarī'ah maqâṣid is very important to determine whether the electronic wallet on the OVO application is in accordance with Islamic law or not. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type of field research. Data collection techniques used, namely interviews, observation and documentation. From the results of the study, it was generally obtained that the electronic wallet in the OVO application was in accordance with the maqâṣid syarī’ah. This suitability is obtained by fulfilling the principle of preserving wealth and benefit. With the security of the OVO application, this security code explains that there is a conformity in the syarī'ah maqâṣid.
