Abstract

Hoerul Fahmi NIM : 1608203119, “Maomao Cirebon Marketing Strategy in Efforts to Increase Brand Awareness”, 2021 The high competition that occurs in the business world, including UMKM, requires the perpetrators to find a strategy to increase product marketing, one of which is through increasing brand awareness. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the strategies that have been used to increase brand awareness. This research uses qualitative research. Qualitative research with descriptive design is research that gives a careful description of certain individuals or groups about the conditions and symptoms that occur. The result of the research that has been done is that Maomao implements a marketing strategy through Internet Marketing, namely in the form of using social media. The effort to increase Maomao's brand awareness is to maintain the originality of the product without preservatives. The inhibiting factor in increasing brand awareness is the student's mindset about products that are quite expensive, the lack of organizing events, and newcomers, while the supporting factors are the development of communication technology, and changes in the lifestyle of modern society which tends to be instant.
