Abstract
In the 21st century, students have the opportunity to improve their understanding of information and communication technology (ICT). Students are be able to use technology and ICT in the learning process, especially in English learning, in this way. The purpose of this research is to find out the students‟ obstacles in using ICT in English learning and to find out the students‟ needs in using ICT to learn English in 21st century. This research used a qualitative approach. Thes data‟s research was taken from MAN 4 Cirebon with the use of one of the ICTs, especially E-Learning Madrasah. The data collection used observation and interview. The findings of this research, students are faced a variety of obstacles when learning English by using ICT, such as, a lack of student motivation in learning, a lack of student experience using ICT, and when accessing ICT to learning English such error to access E-Learning Madrasah. There are several what students‟ needs in using ICT in learning English such as; improving interaction in learning, providing training on understanding the use of ICT, needing flexibility in using ICT, and providing stable internet connections and quotas factors that students require when learning English using ICT.
