Abstract
Indonesia faces complicated issues today that lead to declining morals and an educational crisis. Critics argue that education has failed to provide people with the knowledge, skills, and wisdom. The new curriculum has not revitalized learning as intended, including in English learning. So, the curriculum must allow for differences from all parties of educational sector. They need to be involved in transformative learning that prioritizes student-centred learning. The aim of this research is to create & develop digital English learning resources for middle school students which can instigate transformative learning with the new paradigm as innovation to beyond traditional way. This research utilizing a qualitative approach with the R & D design adapts from Frascati Manual by OECD 2015, that the activities must meet the five criteria: novelty, creative, uncertain, systematic, transferable and reproducible. It is hoped to provide insights to all parties especially teachers as curriculum engineer and guide students toward their essential learning.
