Abstract

The research objectives: 1. To find out the application of the cooperative model of the non-example type in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for seventh grade students of the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Bina Ummah Sumber, 2. To determine the cognitive improvement of seventh grade students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Bina Ummah. Sumber Subdistrict, 3. To determine the effect of the application of a non-example type cooperative model on the subject of Islamic Religious Education on the cognitive improvement of seventh grade students of Bina Ummah Islamic Junior High School, Sumber District. This thinking is contrary to the basic idea that learning can be done in the classroom by fully involving students. The teacher directs students to identify the most effective problem. This learning model can shift conventional methods into new learning models that can make students more effective, think critically, so that students are not positioned as passive recipients of material. The research method uses quantitative research methods. Techniques of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the formula for percentage scale, product moment, and Determination of Correlation (DC). The results of the study: 1. The application of a cooperative model of the non-example type in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for the seventh grade students of the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Bina Ummah Sumber, the questionnaire obtained was 83.75%, 2. The cognitive improvement of the seventh grade students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in the Junior High School Integrated Islam Bina Ummah Sumber District, the average value of the cognitive domain is 5.8476, the t-test is t0.05 = 2.045, 3. The effect of the application of the cooperative model of the non-example type on the subject of Islamic Religious Education on the cognitive improvement of seventh grade students of Islamic Junior High School Integrated Bina Ummah Sumber Subdistrict, based on the results obtained rxy: 0.47 and df: 0.374%, classified as having a moderate effect.
