Abstract
Da'wah is a call for conviction or an effort to invite people for a better and perfect change, either as individuals or society. One of the media for da’wah is through music as outlined in a song lyric that contains a message of da'wah so that it is easily accepted by listeners. The song "Trending Taufiq wal Hidayah" by Wali band is one of the songs that was launched before Ramadan 1443 Hijri, the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the lyrics of "Trending Taufiq Wal Hidayah" by using interpretative qualitative research methods through Ferdinand de Sausure’s semiotic approach. The song lyrics were analyzed from the aspects of the signifier and the signified. The results show that the message of da'wah in the lyrics of "Trending Taufiq wal Hidayah" is a message of da'wah about the importance of taufeeq (prosperity) and hidaayah (guidance), meaning we should seek guidance seriously and do not wait for it, do not be afraid to lose sustenance but be afraid if Allah withdraws or distances us from guidance or instructions.
