Abstract

The 21st century has pierced the issues and demands that must be done in the field of education. One of them is the use of ICT. The use of ICT must be considered by students in the current era of change. This kind of learning allows students to use ICT tools and connect as a learning network without barriers or boundaries. It fully supports the use of equipment and technology to promote EFL learning based on their needs. The purpose of this study is to find out what the learners’ requirements are in EFL learning by using and utilizing ICT and how to maximize its use in practice by students as well as theoretical solutions. This research used a qualitative approach. Moreover, the research used critical literature review and survey as a method. The data collecting of critical literature review obtained from analyzing and synthesizing the existing research and finding from journals and books. Likewise, for data collecting of survey used an open-ended questionnaire that is filled by pharmaceutical vocational high school students. The finding of this research analyzes the description of learners’ requirements which are grouped into two parts, namely target requirements and learning requirements. Furthermore, target requirements have two indicators and learning requirements have three indicators as a benchmark for these requirements.
