Abstract
This study aims to determine the readability level of the reading texts contained in the English book entitled "English For Nusantara" for the eighth grade of junior high school. The method used is qualitative method and descriptive analysis as the design in this research. The results of calculations using the Flesch Reading Ease Formula and the Readability test website are that there are 2 texts at the Very Easy level; 6 texts at the Easy level; 5 texts at the Fairly Easy level; 4 texts at the Standard level; and finally 1 text at the Fairly Difficult level. It can be concluded that out of the eighteen reading texts contained in the textbook entitled "English for Nusantara" for the eighth grade of junior high school, there are only 4 texts that suitable for the eighth grade of junior high school. From the results obtained using the Flesch Reading Ease formula and the website Readability test confirms that in the English textbook entitled "English for Nusantara" of eighteen texts there are only four reading texts that are in accordance with the level of readability of eighth grade junior high school students.
