Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine junior high school students' perceptions of using Socrative as an assessment tool in vocabulary learning. Socrative, a web-based interactive platform, is an engaging substitute for formative assessment. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. Most students had positive perceptions, according to the study results. This is due to Socrative's attractive interface, ease of use, and immediate feedback, which makes students more motivated.
